I have pass my test to thank for passing my test. I booked with them because they looked the best on the internet and it turned out I was right. Excellent driving school and I couldn’t be happier….

There are 3 foot pedals in a manual car and 2 pedals in an automatic car but for this example we’re going to talk about the most commonly used and that is the manual car with 3 pedals.
One of the pedals is the accelerator/gas pedal to the extreme right of the 3 pedals and is always operated by your right foot.
Your accelerator pedal controls the speed of your car and to be more technical it controls the rate at which the mixture of fuel and air is supplied to the engine of the vehicle.
The footbrake is in the middle of the 3 pedals at your feet and this pedal is always again used by your right foot. You should never have to use your footbrake and accelerator at the same time so this will free up your right foot to use whichever pedal is required at any given time.
The function of the footbrake is to slow your vehicle down or bring your vehicle to a complete stop.
The last of the 3 pedals is the clutch pedal and this is used only by your left foot and is at the extreme left of the 3 pedals.
This clutch pedal is your connection between the engine and your gearbox and you use this to move up and down your gears. Every time you want to change gear you will use your clutch pedal to do so.
The above is just a quick summary of what each of the pedals are in your manual vehicle and require some practice on how to use them effectively. We will teach you how to use these efficiently and effectively so that you will have the smoothest drive possible getting the right start on your journey to becoming an amazing driver.
